04.2 | The third World Romani Congress, organised by the Society for Threatened Peoples, was held in Göttingen in April 1981. It was attended by 300 delegates from 28 countries. Romani Rose (on the right wearing a tie) attended the Congress in his capacity as chairman of the Association of German Sinti.
