09 | In recent years the state authorities have been taking a critical look at their own history. The way in which the Federal Criminal Police Office has re-examined its own history is exemplary and comes down to the initiative of the president of the Federal Criminal Police Office, Joerg Ziercke. The photo shows Ziercke in conversation with Auschwitz survivor Franz Rosenbach at the permanent exhibition of the Documentation and Cultural Centre of German Sinti and Roma in Heidelberg on 14 March 2008.
